T-FAL® sealing profile Gel 17-G

Short description:

Plaster sealing strip with cover and fabric strips for sticking to window or door frames in order to form straight soffits with a thermal insulation system. The green coloured foam adhesive tape adheres to the window, the transparent gel adhesive tape absorbs large movements between the thermal insulation system and the window/door frame, the rigid peel-off strips are used for clean adhesion of the protective film.

Description:

Self-adhesive T-FAL® sealing profile gel with fabric strips (4 x 4 mm), transparent gel adhesive tape for large movement absorption, an elastic cover made from soft PVC, green coloured foam adhesive tape and a rigid peel-off strip for attaching the protective film. The cover gives the look of a permanently elastic joint. Soiling of the gel adhesive tape is thus prevented. The necessary ongoing protection of the gel adhesive tape against UV radiation is thus likewise guaranteed. Sealing with a permanently elastic sealant (acrylic, silicone, etc.) is not necessary. The rigid peel-off strips with double-sided adhesive tape allow for clean adhesion of the protective film. The use of additional adhesive tapes is no longer necessary.

Quality:

  • Driving rain proof up to 600 Pa, tested in accordance with DIN EN 1027
  • Meets all requirements in combination with a T-FAL® interior sealing profile Gel (red) or an airtight, water vapour impermeable interior seal
  • „Inside better sealed than outside“ in relation to water vapour diffusion, measured in accordance with MO-01/1
  • Complies with ÖNORM B 5320 / class III (WDVS)
